If visiting and parking on the Blacksburg campus, Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. - 10 p.m., all university community members will need to display a parking permit, utilize the ParkMobile app, pay the daily charge for a pass, or pay for parking using an hourly meter. A range of parking options can be found below.
If purchasing multiple daily passes at once, please visit Parking Services in person at 505 Beamer Way, 7 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday - Friday.

Where to Park, Hours
Visitors may park in any Faculty/Staff (F/S), Visitor, or Student (R/C/G) parking space with a valid Visitor parking pass or using ParkMobile if the space is not restricted by signs.
Visitors are recommended to use the Faculty/Staff section of Perry Street Lot, Litton-Reaves Lot, Coliseum Lot, Derring Lot, Perry Street Parking Garage, Washington Street, and the Litton-Reaves Extension Lot.
Visitors may also use hourly meters on campus. Meter locations include:
- Bookstore Lot (Kent Street)
- Squires Student Center
- Coliseum Lot
- Perry Street
- Wright House
Some restricted areas denoted by signage include ADA spaces, carpool spaces, loading zones, service vehicle zones, timed areas, sidewalks, grass, admission areas, the Hahn Hurst Basketball Practice Facility Lot, the Basketball extension lot, Pamplin Lot, Owens Lot, and Dietrick Dining Hall Lots.

For all university community members, permits or payment of the daily/hour charge is required to park on campus from 7 a.m. - 10 p.m., Monday - Friday. This could include parking permits, thte ParkMobile app, daily parking permits, or use of parking meters.
Visitor permits cost the same as a daily parking permit, $6. Daily permits may be purchased online or in-person at Parking Services at 505 Beamer Way. Daily parking may also be purchased through the ParkMobile app. Customers are able to purchase multiple passes at once if visiting Parking Services in-person.
If utilizing parking meters, rates vary based on duration. Meters are located at the Bookstore Lot (Kent Street), Squires Student Center Lot, Coliseum Lot, Perry Street Lot, the Drillfield, Wright House, and more.
Overnight camping or RV Parking on campus is allowed with prior approval/purchase of a permit from Parking Services. Parking is available (without RV Hook-ups) in the Duckpond Overflow lot or other lot assigned by Parking Services and requires the purchase of a daily permit prior to parking. Virginia Tech Admissions-related visitors may arrange parking through the Visitor Center, located at 925 Prices Fork Road during regular business hours. The Visitor and Undergraduate Admissions Center is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. The building's foyer is open 24/7 and contains admissions and visit materials to assist self-guided campus visitors.
Departmental and Event Visitors
Visitors meeting with departments and colleges should connect with their on-campus contact to arrange parking.
Athletics Events and RV Parking
Overnight camping or RV Parking on campus is allowed with pre-approval and purchase of a permit from Parking Services. Parking is available (without RV Hook-ups) for $20 per day in the Student Remote Lot or other lot assigned by Parking Services.
