Garages

Virginia Tech has two parking garages on the Blacksburg campus.

Perry Street Parking Garage

The Perry Street Parking Garage has 1,350 spaces for Virginia Tech students and employees. The garage, which was built in 2013 is aesthetically interesting, functionally efficient, and safe. The open design allows for maximum light and air flow. Exterior materials include locally quarried Hokie Stone, architectural precast concrete, glass at stairs and elevators, and detailed landscaping.

Location

The garage is situated in the Prices Fork parking lots near Bishop Favrao Hall. Drivers can access the garage and surrounding parking lots from Perry Street, West Campus Drive, and Prices Fork Rd.    

Parking in the garage

A valid university parking permit is required to park in the Perry Street Parking Garage.

  • Faculty, staff, and visitors: levels 1 and 2
  • Commuter/Graduate students: levels 2, 3, 4, and 5

North End Center Parking Garage

The North End Center Parking Garage provides 800 parking spaces for North End Center retail tenants and visitors, university faculty and staff, and visitors to the Center for the Arts.

Location

The parking structure is attached to North End Center, located at 300 Turner Street NW Blacksburg, VA 24061.

Parking in the garage

A valid university parking permit, a validation from one of the retail tenants, or payment of the daily fee is required to park in the North End Center Garage.

  • Visitors: levels 1 and 2
  • Faculty/Staff: levels 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6
  • Cadets: level 7

Updating Vehicle Information

Students and employees who have a new license plate number or a new car must change their vehicle information with the Office of Parking and Transportation as soon as possible.
