Campus Connect Bus
***Campus Connect will not operate during the Fall 2020 Semester. To date, a decision has not been made about the spring semester.***

Leave the I-81 driving to the professional Campus Connect operators! Campus Connect provides employees, students, and their guests with safe, convenient transportation between the university's campuses in Blacksburg, Roanoke, and the Greater Washington, D.C. metro area.
Individual fares are $65 per rider, one way; group fares are $50 per rider, one way. Group rates are available for groups of three riders or more, purchased through HokieMart.
COVID-19 IMPACTS (SEE ABOVE) The bus departs twice daily each weekday and once each weekend from both Blacksburg and Arlington/Ballston. The bus also makes a stop in Salem at the I-81 Exit 140 park and ride lot. Campus Connect operates year-round, including academic break periods, with the exception of university holidays.
Students, faculty, and staff (with a PID and two factor authentication capabilities) are eligible to purchase tickets. Payment for business trips can be made with a credit or debit card, or by using HokieMart. Payment for personal trips can be made with a credit or debit card. Tickets go on sale two weeks in advance of each trip’s scheduled departure. All riders will be required to present a valid photo ID when boarding.
Amenities on the full-size Campus Connect buses include free Wi-Fi, electrical outlets at each seat, a restroom, reclining seats, work tables/trays, snacks, and reading lights.
