Blacksburg to Washington DC Travel Options

Travel options between Blacksburg and the Greater Washington, D.C. Area:

OurBus is an intercity bus service connecting Blacksburg to Washington, D.C. Buses depart Thursday-Monday from Lane Stadium, with stops in Harrisonburg and Tysons.

Virginia Breeze Bus Lines is an intercity bus service. Their Valley Flyer route connects Blacksburg with Union Station in Washington, D.C. The daily route includes several stops in the New River Valley, Shenandoah Valley and Northern Virginia.

To purchase a ticket through Amtrak's website, enter Blacksburg as the origin/destination station. Your rail ticket will include a Smart Way bus ticket to/from the Roanoke train station, allowing for an easy transfer to/from Blacksburg.

Virginia students between the ages of 13 and 25, with a valid student ID, can get a student discount of 25% off any travel in Virginia and Washington, D.C.
